Paintings, sculptures & miscellany...More coming soon...

Above: "A Symphony of Punches / A Rhapsody In The Kisser" is a huge (36" x 48"; weighing, I think, about 30 pounds) sculpture which was lovingly constructed in tribute to Jerome "Curly" Howard, Larry Fine and Moe Howard, collectively known as the most famous incarnation of The 3 Stooges. Antique boxing gloves, prosthetic eyes, a sacrificial violin and repeated viewings of The 3 Stooges' hilarious second short film, "Punch Drunks," released in 1934 plus hundreds of hours of labor went into finishing the piece which massacred not only a violin, my bank account and sleep schedule but also a famous quote from George Bernard Shaw - "Hell is full of musical amateurs: music is the brandy of the damned." To see the piece in greater detail, click here to open up a much larger version.
